Hispanic Liaison
Specialized services are provided for the school’s Hispanic Deaf students and their families. Many of our interview papers mentioned this, additionally explaning the reasoning behind such a policy.
A liaison to the Hispanic community, who is a native Spanish speaker, ensures that all home and school communication is in the language of the Hispanic family. She is available full time at the School to support parents by answering questions, interpreting for them, and serving as a link to the School.
